Dr. Lipton saved Sally’s life. My 18 year-old “feisty female”, refusing vehemently to get into her carrier, hadn’t seen a vet in a very long time. When she did need care, finding A House Call and Dr. Lipton was a relief. With skill, kindness and good humor, she has provided excellent care, even surgery, at my home. I know that she has extended the time that I will have Sally with me. For that, I am exceedingly grateful. I highly recommended her to anyone needing this kind of special care.

Dr. Lipton has been our vet for the past 6 years. She first began treating our 12-year old dog in his decline. What impressed us the most was that she took extraordinary effort to investigate his condition and discovered issues undetected by the vets that had been treating our dog for most of his life. She definitely aided his condition during his final months. Dr. Lipton has treated all of our animals ever since.

Dr Lipton is the best! We love her and our dog Mocha loves her. Mocha’s tail wags (and butt wiggles!) when Dr Lipton arrives, and the only car Mocha has ever chased is Dr Lipton’s as she leaves. She has helped us through the process of diagnosing and treating Mocha’s severe allergies, and patiently trained us in administering allergy shots. Most of all, we are forever grateful that Dr Lipton was able to visit us at home, during Covid, so that our previous dog Pepper could spend her final moments with us on her favorite spot on the couch.

We are so thankful for Dr. Lipton. Highly recommend!

Our cat Luna gets so anxious about the vet that it was impossible to get her in the carrier. Dr. Lipton is so compassionate and kind to Luna, even though her intense fear can make her difficult to treat. She has saved her life multiple times. I really trust Dr. Lipton’s judgment and I think she is a very knowledgeable vet.

Luna was recently diagnosed with cancer and Dr. Lipton sent us such a kind text when I told her. I know she will be here for Luna when it’s her time. I’m so glad we found her.

Dr. Lipton goes above and beyond for her patients and clients. Our cats are incredibly skittish and we can’t get them in a carrier, so about 5 years ago we booked Stefanie to come see them and haven’t looked back. She’s so great with our little mischievous girls and incredibly knowledgeable about all things cat. She has helped us treat our 16-year-old cat who is having some health issues and her guidance has been extremely helpful. She’s very responsive at any time and it is so clear that she cares deeply for the animals she treats. I highly recommend Dr. Stefanie Lipton!

Use Stef as your vet—you will not regret it! She has been our family vet for years and helped our animals through some tough times. She knows what she’s doing, and takes the time to educate you on things that no vet has talked to me about before! My dog gets really anxious going to the vet, and is SO MUCH more comfortable with the house calls (not to mention they are easier for my own busy lifestyle, too)! She literally saved my dog’s life recently by catching his heart failure, and we are so, so grateful to have Stef in our lives!

Stef is so amazing and we are blessed to find her and have her in our fur babies’ lives! My babies have been patients for 5 years, maybe more. She’s SO knowledgeable and responsive whenever I reach out with questions, which I always have a lot of. She’s so friendly and good with our babies. She explains everything and takes her time doing so. It’s also so convenient having someone come to the house, especially with cats, and when that person is so smart, accommodating, and nice, it makes me feel so much better. The whole family loves her and comes out to say hi when she visits. I’ve recommended her to anyone who has a pet and will continue to do so.

Dr Lipton is amazing. She helped me take care of my elderly cat with kidney failure. After a sudden episode on New Year’s Day 2021, I didn’t want to bring her to the ER Vet, I really thought I was going to have to put her down. But with Dr. Lipton’s help, we kept her alive for 3 1/2 years. Dr. Lipton taught me how to give her subcutaneous fluid treatments and Miss Trixie lived to be 21 1/2 years old, feisty, spicy, and happy right to the end. I’m so happy I found her.

I cannot tell you how much it has meant to have your expertise, counsel, and wisdom as I traveled the terrain of Devekut’s illness; and even more so your gentleness, compassion, and love. You are a true healer—ushering us both through such a difficult time. The last 24 hours of grieving have been very hard and what is helping the most is gratitude that she was at home playing up until right before she died.

The procedure itself was absolutely merciful and fast; my kinesthetic sense of her resting and peaceful has stayed with me. Your presence, heart, and skill helped us both so much. Thank you for the gift of your accompaniment, great warmth, and kindness. You have deeply blessed me by enacting this as a ritual and entering with such reverence and love. I look forward to meeting again on easier occasions.

When we first adopted our lab-mix puppy Pepper a little over a year ago, we needed a lot of advice about how to take care of her. Dr. Lipton became Pepper’s vet immediately, and she became our sounding board about everything from Pepper’s diet, to how to deal with her mouthing everything (including us!), to what to do about the ugly wart she developed on her chin. Dr. Lipton responded to our many questions patiently and seriously, but also with a sense of humor that helped us to relax! Even more important to us is the fact that Pepper adores her, and Dr Lipton handles her with gentleness and care as she gives Pepper her many “puppy shots.” We are so glad to have a vet with whom we (and Pepper) feel so comfortable!

We used Stef for over 15 years for both our cat and dog. She is compassionate and kind and it made life so much easier for our whole household because she could make house call visits and provide care for our pets inside the comfort of our home.

It was pretty much impossible to take our tabby cat anywhere outside the house because it was such a struggle to get her into a carrier. By the time she would make it to a vet appointment, she’d be a hot mess and cowering in the corner of the exam room. So, a friend recommended using Stef as our vet and we continued to have her for the rest of our cat’s life.

Stef is quite knowledgeable on proper diets for pets and provided a lot of guidance around switching our cat to a high protein, wet diet to help keep her at a healthy weight. When it was finally time for our cat to be put to sleep at age 18 (or 19?), it was a relief to be able to have Stef come over and euthanize her in our home.

We started to use A House Call Vet for our black lab mutt once she became too elderly and arthritic to travel in the car. Stef was able to treat her with acupuncture to alleviate her pain, as well as provide her with medications that we could administer daily. We also used Stef to put our dog to sleep at home, and it made the whole experience a lot better all around. It provided us with comfort that our dog didn’t have to experience being scared and anxious in her last moments. I highly recommend Stef’s services and if we get another cat or dog in need of at-home visits, we will definitely give her a call.
